Dennis Smith, CPC-I, is the founder and a compassionate counselor at Adonai Counseling & Consulting, PLLC, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is committed to helping others help themselves get better, rather than just making them feel better. 

Dennis earned his Bachelor of Science in management from the University of Phoenix in 2003. He then completed his MBA at the University of Phoenix in 2005, graduating with high honors. In 2019, Dennis earned his Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. 

Dennis has worked in the field of behavioral health since 2019 and has a wealth of experience working in an integrated environment that incorporates wellness and medical models for counseling. As a skilled counselor, he takes a patient-oriented approach and employs evidence-based treatments to help his patients get to the root of their problems. He specializes in helping patients navigate anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief/loss, and surviving childhood trauma. 

Dennis is known for his impartiality, and many married couples note that he is a counselor who doesn't take sides, making him well-suited for couples and relationship counseling. 

As a young grandpa who has worked counseling and coaching for most of his adult life, he is excited to work with teens and adult patients at Adonia Counseling & Consulting, PLLC.
